    Bloody hell.

I wonder how much that will cost? £650 at launch?

Cooling could be fun. It's design is pretty awesome tbh.
But yeah, pricing could be an issue to make it feasible.

Re: News - ASUS sandwiches two GeForce GTX 285 GPUs, creates a graphics monstrosity

I can see others doing this and I'd be surprised that nVidia didn't officially sanction something like this if anything like a 4890x2 came out from AMD.

I want to see two of the single PCB 295s sandwiched

Re: News - ASUS sandwiches two GeForce GTX 285 GPUs, creates a graphics monstrosity

Hello ... just wanted to clarify what is really new about this card.

Because I thought all GTX 295s were double PCB. Just recently AMD has been showing single PCB cards that aren't out yet.

You can see it here in this BFG pre water-blocked model at NewEgg. The waterblock is between the two PCBs that make the 295. As I thought they all designed.

    So, what am I missing?

Re: News - ASUS sandwiches two GeForce GTX 285 GPUs, creates a graphics monstrosity

I think the gtx 295 is now a single board design or it could be the gtx 275, i remember that it made headlines as it was their first. AMD have all their dual cards on one PCB(afaik) and this was praised awhile ago for being clever and not just slapping 2 together, same with their cpu's their quadcores are not stuck together and on the same die however intel still stick theirs together.
