Not sure whether I like it or not. I really like the current dashboard, hopefully you will have the option to keep it the way you have it. Mind you the free movie downloads is pretty interesting.

It's one of those things isn't it? We've all got so used to navigating the dash the way it is that the change won't be welcomed by all. Personally, I'm looking forward to something different.

Well i don't like the new look, looks like they took Sony's XMB and switched rotation. Just wonder if they'll try and rip people off by charging by new backgrounds like they do at the moment.

Oh, and i don't like the current 360 blades either.

To me it's very..... hmm... Apple-like in all honesty.

When I saw the music and video's folders I immediately thought of the ipod touch UI and their way of navigating folders etc.

I'm yet to be convinced about the new avatars but I like the change and look forward to it. I don't really mind the blades but I'm always open to more eye candy.

Looks very much like a shop front. Issue with the XBOX 360 is not the dashboard but the very obvious noise of the console. For me make it unusable as a media device, I just use it for games. Until Microsoft completely solve this problem they will not be able to achieve their media goals using the XBOX 360. As a lay person I cannot see whay it has taken them so long. The PS3 is quiet and more powerful. I use it exclusively to watch my growing blu-ray collection. 5ivey

turn the volume up loud enough and the noise cannot be heard also the newer revisions are not as noisy, as for the ps3 being more powerful? was that ever visually proved? i thought games looked better on the 360?

Obviously the stunning HD visuals of Haze prove the 360 is better compared to hd ready Halo 3 (which is double buffered at 720p)
    (Haze is 576i btw)
