I hate the way they always blame video games. Were there no crimes/murders before video games. If someone goes out and does something like that they are already messed up in the head enough that they would have gone and done it anyway. I dont see people banning 18 rated films so readily.

At this rate you wont just have to prove your age upon purchasing a game you'll have to have a psyciatric assesment to make sure your mentaly stable enough to know the difference between fiction and reality.

Sounds to me like the problem is more due to this guy being seriously mentally ill, having little grip on reality. I'd have thought his parents + the social system was more to blame. I think they're making an big issue out of this because it was the murderer who told them he believes it was the game that made him do it. There stupid for believing it, he was obviously an unhinged individual.
