Re: Headlines - Patriot announces Vortex memory cooler for high-end systems

Patriot claims that vibration is non-existent and the dual 40mm 5,000rpm fans are quiet enough to go unnoticed.
"5,000rpm" and "go unnoticed" go as well together as "child's" and "Saddam finger puppet".

    It's going to be loud.

Because everyone knows tiny fans spinning really fast are virtually unnoticeable. If you're stone deaf.

This kind of claim should be illegal, it's just blatant lies!!

    I must disagree here..

It will go unnoticed certainly when you also have 2 DELTA 120mm 190cfm fans in there too..

those 40mm whine wont be heard at all..

I'd say... its all in the fine prints.. its all in the fine prints..
    Me want Ultrabook

Vortex utilises an unused DIMM slot
...so who has any unused memory slots anyway?

Does anyone actually buy Patriot memory? Its not exactly the name you think of when you think good or great memory.

More like budget rubbish..... as quite clearly seen in this.

With regards to the actual memory, define 'budget rubbish' please.

Patriot is far from rubbish; I like it as much as any Corsair memory I've used, and its generally a bit cheaper.
