Re: News - The hardcore Wii title we've been waiting for - The House of the Dead Over

Posting this from my Wii now actually, waiting for new PC arriving Monday. I've plugged a PC keyboard in one of the USB slots on the back and works a charm with the internet browser

Have House of the Dead 2 + 3 on the Wii already, and Umbrella Chronicles and Ghost Squad, all light gun style games, they're pretty fun especially with a Nyko Perfect Shot (though the trigger could be a little less stiff but I think that may be a problem of all the "trigger to push B button" things like on the wii zapper too.

I don't like umbrella chronicles though I really wanted to, because there's no calibration option like in HotD2+3, so you can't make it so that where you point with your gun is actually where it hits, in reality if you look down the remote or gun addon's sight and point at the middle of the screen, it hits at the bottom-middle instead There's no way to turn the crosshair off either in umbrella chronicles, presumably they realised it would be pointless with how the aiming isn't "real" like in HotD2+3 :/

BTW, another great game for Wii is Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, absolutely fantastic FPS, I don't usually like consoles because of the joystick aiming, but Wii aiming is just as good as a mouse. Resident Evil 4's pretty good too, though the voice-acting, dialogue and characters (the protaganist is a sam fisher wannabe with an effeminate emo haircut and a whiny confused attitude) are mostly pieces of crap like usual with Japanese games

Wow, that's cool, I didn't know Wii could do that.

No copy-and-paste or tabs though, which is a pain, and the text editor is horribly slow scrolling up, can't select chunks of text to delete have to slowly hold down backspace - but hey, it's a lot better than nothing, it even has bookmarks
