Re: News - Fast & Furious trailer races onto web

Well I've known about this one for some time.. The fast and the furious is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me so I expected good things.

.. I didn't expect that stupid cars robbing trucks routine to be rehashed though.. oh dear.

I noticed a couple of very nice looking cars in there, one of which I have a bit of a problem with.

This movie features Han from tokyo drift *SPOILER for tokyo drift* meaning this is a prequel to that. Which I guess could answer the quote above.

So how could they have a brand new Impreza STi

But obviously if that is the most stupid thing I can see in the advert, I must be on acid right?

I think it must be.. else Han wouldn't be in it.

I much prefered tokyo drift to 2F2F but again.. both were a bit of a guilty pleasure

Re: News - Fast & Furious trailer races onto web

Still never seen a F&F film yet, the car doing a wheelie in the trailer for the first film was enough to put me off. Am I missing out on anything?

Whoops! This is the fourth installment, and the article has been updated. I'd completely forgotten about Tokyo Drift - but then, who hasn't?

F & F is like Point Break with cars instead of surf boards. It's nicely shot and some of the cars look lovely if a little too barry boyed at times. A stupid plot but some pretty good acting for Mr Diesel. The wheelie isn't that stupid when put in context I suppose.. still pretty stupid though

2F2F .. is just a popcorn movie, very little plot, stupid.. just turn your brain off and enjoy the nitrous.

Tokyo Drift.. obviously about drifting in tokyo. Again very nicely shot and some nice cars in this one, bit of the heart from the first one is back in it. The plot is more of a teenage.. coming of age film, there are silly drifting car chases and lots of Asian girls wearing .. not a lot.. if thats your thing

Overall.. you havn't really missed anything, epsecially if you have seen point break

I'd rather forget about 2F2F, this plot could easily just superceed it

Nope. Whilst I'll probably get lynched for saying this - The entire film smacked of chav throughout for me.
Poor one liners, typical attitude problems with the characters, and its got Vin in it...what more couldn't you want in a film?

I guess its a matter of opinion but i didnt see the film as a chav one, at the end of the day chavs =fail and think they are cool/strong/hard when they are weak hence the hanging in big groups.

It was a good film, i loved the first one and personnally Vin is a great actor expecially in pitch black and chronicles of riddick.

Although the films are quite daft I did enjoy the first and the third, I'll make sure to catch the forth one.

Likewise I'm glad to see vin make a return, he was very good in pitch black and chronicles of riddick! Didn't realise they are making another one! Sweet!
