SCAN just gets more visitors that may potentially buy things.. and customers have the chance of winning a loverly prize which increases the likelyhood of returning to SCAN...

If you look at the xfx vs nvidia reference there are quite a few differences...lol.

I should have done research before entering the comp with possibly the incorrect value (depending on which version they base the answer on); but even then the question is too vague

Surely it has to be the value for the XFX card? The scan page with the competition link has only xfx products at the bottom too, everything on there is purely to do with xfx and not the reference nvidia cards.

It would be nice to have someone from scan confirm this though.

Well the reference design is a bit higher than the XFX one. I just put in the values for both as it is a little vague on the question. Hopefully they will accept my entry.
