Sadly, it seems that Alone in the Dark was probably the last major and big budget title from Atari Inc as it adjusts its business model to fit in with the trends of the industry.

Last of the 'single player only with no community focus at all' big budget titles rather.

I wouldn't rule out big budget games as long as they have a community and/or multiplayer aspect, such as Test Drive Unlimited.

I really hope Test Drive Unlimited sees a sequel! Its one of my favorites and theres still a massive following.
