Just as long as it isn't as loud as my fridge. I wouldn't want to be sat next to that for long.
Re: News - Thermaltake XPRESSAR supercooled system gets the green light
Yeah, "condenser" makes it sound quite audible.
Re: News - Thermaltake XPRESSAR supercooled system gets the green light
This is a technology that I think will take a few years to mature as the first wave of products will be limited, loud and expensive.
Can't use this on graphic cards, or northbridge chips. Most people into water cooling would see this as a fatal flaw....
But a fews years later and it might just be brilliant. Keep at it Thermaltake, someone has to use innovation.

 no :)
Still expensive and damn ugly.

Does this mean that the next big thing on the mod scene is going to be computer cases with a built in beer chiller or wine cooler?
Maybe a full beer pouring thingy! You know like you get at the bar!
mmmmm....... cyberbeer....
Re: News - Thermaltake XPRESSAR supercooled system gets the green light
Cooling so hardcore even I won't do it..
Too many drawbacks (sadly).
Re: News - Thermaltake XPRESSAR supercooled system gets the green light
If you can't cool the gpu then what is the point? One of the benefits of liquid cooling is reduced noise, thats useless if you can still hear the (often loud) high end gpus.

Yeah, without a beer dispenser, it's doomed... (Just like all other PC cases??? Uh, no.)
I read somewhere that Thermaltake will release a standalone product, that will fit into a 5.25 bay (or two?) so I wouldn't have to buy the case.
I'm VERY happy with my case, and wouldn't have to change it for this new technology. However, it would be nice to have an XPRESSAR-type solution inside.
