w00p! Hoping to get a SSD by christmas, but the prices are still a lil high. Hopefully in november they will start rolling them all out.

thing is thou without pricing its hard to get excited, if its cheaper to get two 128GB you get a MUCH better performance because SSD have been seen to scale almost linearly.
RAID'ing up a couple of the intel 250mb/s chappies would be quite tempting.

Agreed. I'll start to get excited about SSDs when the price drops to a point that I can afford one.

I wonder if they suffer from the over 1 second small file write latency that all of the cheapo SSD's suffer from? causing Vista installs to fail and OSX to appear to keep locking up?
