NV = Epic Fail over this long running fiasco!
** waits for Apple negative comments :)
to be honest i've been reading about the problems NVidia have been having on the gossip site that is the Inq. Sounds like someone really screwed the pooch and lied to their consumers.
This could of happened to any manafacturer (and you know how i love to slate apple).
What will be intresting is will a fabless AMD have better quality control with its outsourcing?
Will the fan boys be still happy to pay waaay over the odds for the same build quality as every other laptop on the market?
Time will tell :)
I have a 2.2 Macbook Pro with an M8600GT bought approx last nov + havent had any of the affor mentioned issues.

Oh dear! think my son may have one of these dreaded machines, i'll have to keep an eye on it for any symptoms..
