Crikey that looks swish - but it'll be hella expensive.

Exactly.. how much are people willing to spend on a chipset that will probably be obselete when Intel change the electronic characteristics of the chips yet again.

You two would be rubbish at haggling. I thought if i started off offering £50, i could negotiate up from there :)
Re: News - ASUS announces RoG Rampage II Extreme: armed and ready for Intel's Core i7
I'd guess somewhere around £250-£300 as well. Which is, frankly, mental. Especially as it'll be about the same in dollars. Bunch of theiving &*%$&£*F

You think there'll be a choice? At the moment it's looking like if you want to buy a core i7 then you have to buy a premium mobo to go with it.
Re: News - ASUS announces RoG Rampage II Extreme: armed and ready for Intel's Core i7
Id personally say a little over £200, £250 tops.
£300 does seem ridiculous really.
Re: News - ASUS announces RoG Rampage II Extreme: armed and ready for Intel's Core i7

Looks interesting. Obviously I want to see benchmarks and stability testing (in particular with RAM) before I commit.

Don't forget, all you're gonna get on release is silly prices, and t his is the enthusiast only stuff, mainstream chips and boards aren't here until next year Q1-Q2 iirc.
