Now we just need to know when its out. April/May next year would suit me perfectly (X10 contract renewal).

Re: News - Samsung Galaxy S3 new design and specs leaked

Why would they put "private internal presentation" on the slide? Surely that would be obvious if you saw it at a ... y'know, private internal presentation? They've also mis-spelled 'copying' and used phone pics with ugly white boxes around them, just like they've been lazily cropped from a web page. Also, shouldn't it all be in Korean?

    Looks fake.

As pointed out on a rather popular technology blog, surely they would use the right terminology for the screen, which would be "HD Super AMOLED" instead of "Super AMOLED Plus HD".

Can you imagine Steve Jobs if he saw this. If this is official, there's no excuse for such lazy presentation, internal or otherwise. Spelling mistakes, poor crops, and generally about the level of a 10 year old's power point slide.

Re: News - Samsung Galaxy S3 new design and specs leaked

I'm confused - I thought the "current" rumour mill had SGS3 with a quad core cpu, a massive battery and "only" a 10MP camera, but also with an NFC chip. Now this says a bigger camera (which interests me not) and "only" a dual core processor, plus no sign of the NFC capability - which I thought was "required" for the new gen 'droid phones? Hopefully this is a release is a fake and we'll go back to the previous rumour specs.

That said, I do like the new look - leave the slab designs to Apple.

Edit: consensus around the android sites is that this "slide" is an obvious (and very poor) fake and the "S3" in the picture is actually a Photoshopped Samsung Wave or SE Xperia Arc S.

Ditto - even a dual core would be fine I guess (although not much of an improvement over the existing SGS2 surely). Just as long as the UK teleco's get them for 04/07/12.

I guess we'll only know for sure after next year's Mobile World Congress (when the SGS3 is supposed to be launched). I await that with interest...
