Should Inno3D manage to hit the sub-£7 price point, its 512MB derivative could be promising.
I would SLi them if they were that cheap :p

forget SLI, what about quad SLI :D
anyway, this card has 256bit memory bus, and the 384MB version has a 192bit bus, so its not just more memory but the 512MB version will or should be faster, unless the clocks are different.
Re: News - Inno3D rigs NVIDIA's GeForce 9600 GSO with 512MB of memory
The only real reason that the XFX XXX card was competitive with the ATI 4670 was because of its high overclock. Adding 512Mb of memory may make the card usable at higher resolutions but it won't make it a worthwhile purchase if it's not OC'd. It will be interesting to see how much of a boost it gets from the extra bandwidth... looking forward to the benchmarks.

Hold on, is this the 'new' 9600 GSO that's actually based off the G94 core (i.e. the 9600 GT core) with 48 shaders? I heard that has a 256-bit memory bus and higher clock speeds to make up for the shader deficiency.

I second Lightnix's query...

If it really has 96 SP, that's fantastic news and I really want to see a decent review, but I fear the worst :(
