    Good.

    ARM is a newer architecture than the predecessors on which x86 is based. It's much simpler, which makes it easier to make as power efficient as we see today.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I suppose it depends on what you define as the origins of the architecture. I guess RISC did come after CISC but only a matter of a couple of years in the 60s. As for ARM specific architecture that was the early 80s as opposed to late 70s of the 8086. I don't think from that era the fact it's "newer" makes much difference in itself. Just the concept in itself. I'm a huge fan of ARM and Acorn anyway.

    At least Intel have the decency to apologise when they openly reference a competitor when slagging them off. Sort of ironic that they were dealing with the company that makes, arguably questionable points, about it's competitors as it's major advertising campaign!

    Once again, it's apparent that however much better Intel is, it's because of ARM that they're improving. It's this "friendly" rivalry that makes tech improve so much
