Still to expensive!
I can go and buy 2x 512MB 4850's from Scan (assuming they were in stock) for £205 why am I going to pay a £65 premium for having a single card solution? In fact I could but 2x 1GB 4850's and still save myself a tenner!
Agree, it doesn't make sense :S
The 2GB 4870x2 is most certainly cheaper then 2 x 1GB 4870....as it should be!!
In fact, if yur paying £270 for a 1GB 4850x2, you might as well stretch the extra to the top dawg.
I do think that pricing needs to be addressed across all the 4850x2 models. Buying a 4850x2 should certainly be cheaper than having to purchase 2 x 4850's. Perhaps we need to wait and see what prices the other companies price the card at.
its worth it for people not on X48s x38s.
priced under the GTX280, and gives usually better results. its fine to me, but then i know have a 4870x2 for £300 :D
