Is the red flaming artwork on the case by design or purely co-incidental?
With 3 GPUs and a Quad-core CPU, I would be afraid of my legs spontaneously igniting if I used it on my lap!

Rocket It will blow away my x80r ;/
That laptop has got some serious horsepower Wouldnt mind one myself
Might be a bit out of budget though . . damn
Wait it has an IGP, so really its 2 gpus crammed in there since the majority of laptops have IGP's now(didnt the m17 have one?). Its good but the design is shocking, looks something like id make so wouldnt think of buying it unless its in nice black ,
"Boasting a battery life of up to 8 minutes under load, this is sure to appeal to avid gamers on the road"
But in all seriousness, I wonder how long the battery does last, with that sort of power under the hood it can't be long.
Well under load no it's sure to last under an hour.. well under an hour lol But doing desktop stuff it might not be too bad at all as gaming laptops go.
I don't see a problem with screen have a 1680 x 1050 resolution, it might actually be a bit more readable than 1920 x 1200 even with the font size large I don't like that res on a laptop.
After all , 20 - 22" desktop screens run that res and run it very nicely to, it's also a manageable res to game with high settings where I fear even all that graphics power the 9800GT's have, they might start to strugle with 1920 x 1200.
