Having seen O'Rourke interviewed by Jonathon Woss a few months ago, i have to say i'm quite excited by this. It seems to have that sense of semi-biography about it (wrestling / boxing) that get's people intreagued.

Still, i'd be annoyed if Heath Ledger didn't get an Oscar, irrespective of how good this film may be.

I will deffo check this out, love Aronofsky films, even enjoyed The Fountain.

Yet to watch the Fountain, but Pi and Requiem... are amazing, so I'll be looking forward to this.

The Fountain is a beautiful looking film and is quite gut wrenching in parts. At the same time, its also slow and it also has people in it who are immortal and stuff that makes no sense. If you can get past that its probably worth a look but its not nearly as amazing as requiem which I would rank as my favourite film of all time, any film that has Jennifer Connelly going 'ass to ass' is in with an immediate chance to be fair.
