Benchtec UK World Record attempt part 4 - Record Breakers!

Benchtec UK's Paul Watkinson breaks his own WPrime record with an Intel i7 CPU running at -128 degrees Celcius... this is extreme overclocking!
    Watch the show.

Oo very nice! Please please please tell us you guys managed to get 3d Mark to run That'll be awesome to see what kind of benchmark numbers it throws up!

Really interesting watching the extreme end of overclocking.

BTW, my office is about as cold as that CPU

Lol just wondering what the point in the 120mm fan at the back was.
How come it wasn't on, surely it must help the north bridge at least?

the northbridge needs a lot less cooling now that they've stuck the memory controller onto the CPU chip. so the northbridge isn't so much of an issue for heat anymore.
