pff, played doom at 4 or something, never did me any harm. Games are only dangerous to the easily influenced/mentally damaged minority, it's not justice to restrict everyone else. I'm young enough to remember how crap it is that anything mature is "18" rated - imagine if they did the same to novels.

^^ gotta agree. I've tried keeping my 4 year old nephew downstairs while I'm playing Gears of War. I say "you've got to stay down stairs because of all the blood and language and stuff" to which he replyed "but it's not real blood, it's just a game" (which just goes to show if a 4 year old knows it's not real...). Still I try to keep him out of the room while playing it (not always successfuly) as anyone who's played GOW online with me will have heard.
