Intel has been talking about its Celeron dual-cores for some time - e.g. http://www.intel.com/design/mobile/s...t/31973501.pdf from April 2008. They've also got them on http://www.intel.com/en_UK/Consumer/...htm?iid=SEARCH (click the 'Processor numbers' to see), but not the two models mentioned here :SThese were the arrival of Intel's first dual-core Celeron processors for notebooks.
Your local DSGi has also been selling Intel Celeron Dual Core T1400 laptops for some time...
I think a more accurate title would be "Intel launches new Celeron dual-core CPUs for notebooks"?
