Wait.... the crappy 360 ports that lag on most systems are going to lag more???. I dont see the point in this, the gpu is the majority for limitations and they are trying to take the load from the cpu(what else does it do?) so its sitting idle.

How many of these ports have they done that play badly on the PC? I was under the impression it was just 1 or 2 sports games....

Anyway....What PhysX should bring is more realistic ballistics and deformations......and I am all for that, especially now that it can be done very cheap (and in a lot of cases, free).

    About bloody time!

The sport games and some of the racing games, i wasnt being entirely serious but joking about the small amount of bad ports and with them preforming badly, heck alot of normal games dont scale that greatly on pc when they should do. TBH if it adds better effects etc then i agree its good, but they should sort it for the cpu(dunno how ) so that the load on gpu isnt any more.

Well lets hope they make the PhysX part of the game optional. ie If you want it on it'll be on, or if you don't want it on you can turn it off but still play the game. I would like it to start being used in games though

Get a 2nd graphics card cheap to do the PhysX would be nice.

Wonder if 2K will be putting PhysX in Mafia II? I can see it being useful for creating a realistic sandbox world.
