News - Stocking filler: Carphone Warehouse lists a £2.88 phone

Don't fancy spending £342.50 on an Apple iPhone? Not to worry, that amount of moolah could get you a hundred Motorola W180s.

Indeed. I myself was wondering what this new way of measuring time was.. a new unit we now have to use to comply with EU regulations perhaps?

Re: News - Stocking filler: Carphone Warehouse lists a £2.88 phone

Sounds ideal for me. Even better than the £5 Sagem I got a couple of last time Asda did a deal.

I don't care about bells and whistles, frills, games, camera etc. Can I make and receive calls? I can? Then it does what I need from a phone. And if it packs up or you lose it, it hardly matters.

Might grab a couple as spares.

Orange suits me fine. I get good coverage where I need it, and it's what I'm using now anyway. Looks even better.

Re: News - Stocking filler: Carphone Warehouse lists a £2.88 phone

Matt, should be easy to unlock for a couple of quid on the internet.

You have to pay £10 airtime as well to get this phone for £2.88, so that makes it in total £12.88, still a very good deal.

    Hi

I've just bought a Orange PAYG and it's unlocked. It wasn't this model though.

Re: News - Stocking filler: Carphone Warehouse lists a £2.88 phone

Keep it in standby and this phone's battery will keep chugging along for almost three walks.
3 Walks to where ? Lands End? John'O'Groats? Dudloi ?

Nice little phone for the price - I suppose it's ideal for older people to have as an emergency phone in their cars.

    freezes all the time.
    MP3 player randomly corrupts songs.
Camera won't work, just comes up saying 'battery low'.
and the little flick stand has snapped off (that was my fault )
