    Good idea, especially if you're just browsing the web. How they'll let you choose on bootup though and ensure the had drive is switched off and on properly when you need it could be interesting.

    I have the original MSI wind(Advent flavour). Still waiting for the 6 cell to become easily available for it so how easy it will be to get for the new one only time will tell.
    I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

    12 hours eh? I've always said I'll get a new laptop when a decently priced one that can do over 10 hours arrives on the market.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Sorry But even with a 6cell battery 12 hours is a bit too much of a clame.
    There are net books on the market already with 6cell batteries SSD drives and smaller screens (which will use less power) and they don't get 12 hours of life.

    Re: News - MSI launches Hybrid Storage netbook

    IIRC im sure there isnt *that* much of a power usage difference between SSD and HDDs at the moment...

    Would have been better if it could be used like that hybridstorage system that Vista has...

    Hybrid storage?

    Sounds to me like its just two drives with the OS set to spin down the other partition? Am i missing something?
