    News - Dell to move EMEA manufacturing from Ireland

    1,900 Irish jobs will be lost as Dell relocates EMEA PC making to Poland and third-party manufacturers.

    Thats another business off to the Eastern block.

    Prices will stay the same.
    Costs go down for Dell.
    Quality goes down for everyone.

    This paired with their new deals with cheaper component manafacturers from last year.. HMMMMMM...

    I've been a dell man for a long time but these sorts of changes will require some scrutiny before a purchase.

    Considering we sell 90% Dell, this could see a move to the other side...

    Will this also mean lead times will double coming from Poland and shipping costs go up even more?
