Mass Effect 2 is good news for me - I really enjoyed that game, even if it was a bit easy. I'm not betting it will make it to a PC release though given the speed by which its price dropped after launch.

I would bet, and even throw in a PS3 release as well.

Exactly. PC gamers are the ones that have supported the BF franchise since the very beginning and to be abandoned now with little sign of any future development sux tbh.

How so? They're just trying to pick up on (steal) the TF2 concept with a new way of funding the game.

Exactly what would you do with the BF franchise at this point to stop it going stale and have everyone complain anyway? They've done WWII, Vietnam, modern warfare and future warfare on PC already, what else would you have them do?

well improve on bf2 or at least port bad company to the pc's. there are many new features in bad company that are not on bf2 such has destructable enviornments which is a big feature to have in those sorts of games.

so you think that because they have made bf games on all major timeline wars, they shouldnt make another one?

bf heroes from many peoples opinions sounds like a joke and not even as good as tf2 from the looks of things. its 3rd person i heard

No, I think that they shouldn't make another one unless they can come up with some genuinely new ideas for it and not just some minor graphical tweaks. Otherwise you'll just end up recycling the same game, year on year, and expecting people to pay for it. Which is exactly what everyone moans at EA about in the first place!

Can you honestly say that in four releases there have been any significant changes? It's just been the same game with a new setting each time!

As for Bad Company, I don't know if you played it but it was really good fun. Maybe there should be a PC port but I suspect the BF hardcore would just moan that it's not BF2. And BF Heroes, why not let it prove itself before you judge it? If BC was anything to go by I think it could be a lot of fun as well.

Why does it being in third person make a difference? Gear of War is in 3rd person and is highly enjoyble as was graw 1 and 2 on the xbox 360.
