    Good news in my book.

Timesplitters + cryengine could be awesome(so long as it runs without a supercomputer).

Hopefully they will redo Haze for multiple formats, it was a great concept...but let down by horrendous gameplay and performance (576i on a PS3!!!)

Yeah, I liked the first look at Haze when I went to Leipzig, but it was so disappointing. It has great promise though now!

    Thank God!!

Well done Crytek - nice to see that ONE failure has not killed this great British developer.

I just pray that the Timesplitters game they were working on will be their first release as this series of games has to be some of the most fun I have had with my clothes on ...

Guy I know worked on it, apparently Ubi had some 'views' that were forced on the product

I'd rather see them come up with something new than try to polish a turd to be fair even if it means not getting another timesplitters, the FPS genre has become more than a tad stale recently and crytek have the perfect oppurtunity to let the free radical guys start something fresh rather than falling back on haze or timesplitters.

I don't want them to polish it

I want them to start from scratch with only the IP to go by, none of the other rubbish that they originally had

That'd be interesting to see but I'd still rather they start with a clean slate, I was never a huge fan of haze on any level though so I'm blatantly biased.

Publishing a beta build as final didn't help (also know someone who worked on it)
