So with the case costing £80

And the Xbox costing £120

They are charging you over £100 to recase the Xbox, you can do your own using an Xbox 360 elite and it would still be cheaper.
Oooo imagine all the dust that thing'll suck in, niiiice.
Why the hell does it not have a removable filter section on the front....?
Paying all that to accomodate a console that should be reliable and quiet in the first instance is pure comedy. MS seem to get away with poor design.
Oh, a Quieter version would certainly be nice haha
I totally agree, you can buy an Elite and a Lian Li case and it would still be cheaper. But when you buy one of these Xboxes you don't just buy the console and the Lian Li case you also buy the modification and 12 months warranty. If you do the mod yourself, which we encourage, then there will be no warranty, so if anything goes wrong then it's new console time!
Surely you don't expect us to send time dismantling the Xbox, install it in the Lian Li case and then supply 12 months warranty for free do you?

How much they are charging seems fine to me TBH...
360 + Case + Fan mounts + Acoustifeet + AcoustiPack + Warranty + Time...
£100 + £80 + £3.90 + £2.29 + £17.70 + Warranty + Time...
And it's not as if they hide that fact that you can buy all of the stuff and do it yourself... they even link to all of the products pages on the item page.
And it's not exactly 'they' as you're talking to skippy
edit: oh, and i'm not trying to say it's a great deal, everyone should buy one, but there are those where this is a product worth buying, as they don't have the time to spend doing it...
Same with building PC's some people will, some people pay a premium to get it done for them.

well at least they offer warranty with them... if you bought case and did yourself youd have no warranty at all.
