Meh, apart from DX10.1 theres not much new, guess I was expecting more.
At least ATI inovate rather than rebadge.

This isn't rebadge stuff though - their first lot was, but these are genuine new products (for a change).

My bad, so these actually are based upon GT200 architecture rather than taking a 9800GTX and calling it a GTX 280?

They are, but they are cut down quite a bit, hence why they effectively look like last gen desktop specs.
