GeForce GT 120?!? That'll be a rebadged - what, 9400? 9500?
return of the "substitute $ symbol for £ symbol"
So basically, they've made things cheaper by cheapening the graphics cards included.
Somehow I expect that the profit per unit has gone up...
Edit: £499.00 and £649.00 for the mac mini. ahahahahhaaaaa. Jokes. I could build an i7 rig for £649. Granted, it wouldn't be small, but I know what I'd rather have
Edit2: No-doubt Funkstar will be on here soon preaching that Apple need to legally make as much money for the shareholders as possible, and that I'm an idiot complaining about this $ => £ thing.![]()
lol@pricing, at least apple have a sense of humor!![]()
MORE IMPORTANTLY!!.....
What socket is actually used on the Nahalem DP Xeons!?!?!?I've been trying to find a pic of the new motherboards for months!!
On a side note: Apple's "OLD" Mac pro (2 weeks ago) was (with a coupon) cheaper to buy by itself, throwing away the mobo, and buying a new one, then the sum of separate parts from the cheapest online retailers....no wonder they were quick to change the specs..even though they can't supply ANYTHING right now coz it is Intel who decides when it's time to ship. Obviously, by early April EVERYONE will magically have the same system on sale.
NOW, whats the NEW Dual socket called..and where are the pics?![]()
