Right, that does it. I'm moving to Didsbury (grumble grumble)
*Cough Cough*
FAILSWORTH Greater Manchester North West
?
Ah well, nowhere near me on the list
All the one's in Manchester are going to be covering the great unwashed, sorry... I mean all the students as that what failsworth, Didsbury and of course Rusholme.
MRWAL (my exchange) will be updated about 10 years after the initial release as per usual
It's not mine
Perhaps i had better move to somewhere in london with these. It would be better for work as well. Hmmmm. I wonder.
I'm suprised though that there are none apart from london in what i'd call the south.
Oldham? Yes get in! Bit surprising still with all the kids round here getting free overpowerd PC's it makes sense they need something quick to download the net with. Still if its affordable ill be happy
Permanently confused
Did I see Cumbria there...nope thought not!
Aaaaaand nothing West of London...
If this is going to be anything like how long it took for them to get ADSL on this road it'll be here by ~2050
^ Yes, they really need to pull their damn finger out and do something about West London. I Hate BT, and I hate my area (Heathrow) because it's still a analogue area! Why!! Skyport needs fibre optic upgrade and all these telegraph poles need to be ripped out. When it rains or when it's slightly windy, my line speeds goes to something no better than dial up.
I take it you have ADSL just now? In that case it took them at the very most 10 years (as that is how long ADSL has been available in the UK). So that would make it 2019, not 2050
I find it quite interesting that Aberdeen was part of the original roll out for ADSL in the UK (I had mine installed within the first couple of weeks of it being online, and suffered from the "incompatible driver" issue with the frog), yet it hasn't been on any of the subsequent initial rollouts. I wonder why this is? has the market up here changed? or was the initial ADLS roll out a lot larger than anything since.
I suspect the latter.
Yay Thamesmead!
