I think the TS-219 looks the better of the proposition of the two. Two mirror'd 1.5tb drives is a good viable proposition for most people's storage & media storage requirements.
Ive been tempted by a NAS for a while now and I think the 219 ticks a lot of the boxes. Nice looking, huge potential storage, and PCless download from sites that require authentication. Shame that with drives it comes to around £400.
Maybe next month
My first thought was "These look really nice, but for that money can't I just build myself a basic server?" I can see the 219 being popular in SMB / third sector though, if the interface is intuitive enough: if I was still self-employed I might be inclined to consider them for clients requiring mid-capacity redundant storage...
