About bloody time... took them from all the way from 7900GX2 to figure out that two PCB design is just rank...

IIRC, ATI has been doing single board dual gpu solution since Rage 3D MAXX... tho honestly that card was pretty pants even for its days..

I assume this would come with 40nm chips, then. Something tells me they won't be able to do this with current 55nm process (470 sq.mm per die).
