I'm in the exact same position as you. I walked into HMV last week and was redicliously close to getting the RB1 instrument pack. Every time I almost go for it, I just think "NO! 1 more week!"

I hate EA and Harmonix with a passion at the moment, but sure to be filled with love no doubt when we finally get it...

Couldn't be bothered to wait. The instruments were meant to come out last week, and I have just given up. Bought the original set and some drum silencers from Zavvi

Yeah they are good thanks. I was expecting worse to be honest, but the noise isn't bad and after looking at some reviews and so on, I just decided to get them. Yeah I saw that they were going to be out February time, to me it's too long to wait, especially seeming as I have the both games!

Drum Silencers ?

Just tap them instead of whacking them and you'll find not only are they quieter but your percent scores will be higher.

It's taken me a few weeks to adjust now, but I find it a lot easier... well until I play System Of A Down - Chop Suey, Disturbed - Down with the Sickness and of course A Jagged Gorgeous Winter by The Main Drag.
