Given that the 185 drivers *haven't* been released to the public, are we going to get the GTX275 rebenched with the 182 drivers?

Yay for more per-game (typical benchmark games too!) tweaking!.. Why don't they focus on bug fixes and generic code optimisations instead?

If they're not available by the end of play tonight, yes, we will rebench the card with R182s.

Well, there you go. 185.65s were pulled and updated with 185.66s.

    Thanks for the link, cobhc

I wonder.... have they updated the 9800GTX? This flipping annoying bug where it wont let you see your display due to it seeing a monitor as a tv when connected via hdmi-->dvi, i have to keep adding one string of text to the disp file just to make it work which is SUCH a pain . Nice claims though.

I think the fair thing to do would be to include results for both the beta and WHQL drivers. Many of us only feel comfy with the formal releases having been bitten by cruddy betas in the past. Of course, the beta drivers giving better performance is relavent (sign of things to come?) but performance can go down as well as up - it's quite possible that to fix bugs in the 185s they have to roll back some of the enhancements...

Similarly with ATI - current cats vs hotfix drivers...

Stupid drivers.... half fixed piece of junk. I can boot up with the drivers on and the display works, thats all. The quality is BAD, completely out of focus and doesnt even fit the edges (its worse than my old CRT) The native res is 1680x1050 and at every resolution its the same (1900 etc). Its detecting the screen as a HDTV when its not(mostly) so does any have a fix?.
