Couldn't agree more. I assume the AM3 chips aren't as voltage sensitive as Core i7 in the memory controller, so why not use the extra voltage to tighten the timings?Originally Posted by The Article"

I'm just building my first AMD system, and have bought some high spec RAM 'designed' to run at 1.65v... was is the general experience pushing more volts through DDR3 Dual Channel kits on an AM3 setup? Is this recommened voltage purely for Intel systems? How high do you think it is safe to go with a Phenom X3?
