It's nice and sunny here. I might go for adrive later, a nit of foot to the floor action![]()
I'm starting a new hobby: burning tyres. It's pretty satisfying.
I'm going to hug a tree, and then have a bbq.
I like the poetry in reassuring a tree that it's alright, and then providing it with some more carbon to assimilate.
What a cynical bunch!
I actually had no idea - although rather foruitously I decided not to leave my PC folding while I was at work today, which I have been doing quite a lot recently - maybe my subconscious knew it was Earth day!

Apparently the sun cooling down, so that's global warming fixed, guess I'll just play eve then.
The environment round here could do with a bit a damage, might get rid of some of the bloody cows.
Speaking of bloody cows, I think I just decided what to have for dinner.
Does it matter to you? Nope - damage is arealdy done. Might aswell join in the tyre burning fun right ?![]()
well theres 20 x 20ft floor joists and 5 x 5m steel girders arrived in my garden, so nothing quite like a bit of deforestation and melting stuff in a furnace to get the day started.
I did rescue a bee that was stuck in the house, also fed the ducks, so i am helping the wildlife out a bit. (except that fly my dad squashed)
I would have to say yes, it does matter .
But after seeing the movie : The Unicorn Killer it's left a nasty tatse in my mouth so to speak.
"(Ira Einhorn) became a New-Age networker with CEOsSold them blueprints of the future," exclaims Maralyn Lois Polak in the WorldNet Daily. "(He) launched (Philadelphia's) Earth Day celebration. Ran for Mayor of Philadelphia as a self-proclaimed Planetary Enzyme, a catalyst for global change."
It's a crazy world we live in, this guy Einhorn destroyed a family and at the same time tried to save the planet. Maybe I should be saying he was crazy rather than the world we live in.
Oh on the plus side I'm out celebrating my daughter has just landed her 1st teaching post .
earth day, woop! Heating on and windows.....tropical Great Britain ftw!![]()
Well my wife wants me cutting the lawn & gardening so that is my contribution
