Top marks to Zotac for this one, got to be comfortably the most powerful low-profile graphics card yet. Deserves to do very well I think - would definitely be on my list if I was building a HTPC

If only it was passive, then it would be perfect

    Good work though Zotac.

Indeed - I wonder how much noise that woefully-small-looking fan makes under load...

Otherwise a good product concept though: I wonder how long before we see a low profile 4670 from one of ATI's partners...

tbf when your underload your probs doing somethin that would drown out the noise any fan liek that would make anyway. A few ZOTAC products have caught my eye recently well done guys

Bah, how big could they have made it and still be low profile.

Much as I dislike Nvidia's current power hungry generations of cards I have to say Job Well Done to Zotac on this.... fits a niche very well

I know they were limited - I just wonder if that size fan really moves enough air to make a siginificant difference. I guess with a low profile card it's tricky to make a big enough passive cooler though.

I guess you could always water-cool it...

Id still opt for the low profile 9600gt bauce it has a 256bit memory bus rather than the 128bit on the 4670, which will help it alot at higher resoloutions.

Yeah, all the benchies show the 9600GT as consistently ahead of the 4670 - at least as far as fps goes. I think the 4670 might have a slightly better multimedia features set? Which one I'd buy would inevitably come down to price though...

Also, this would be even better if it supported Hybrid SLi, but as far as I can see from the NVidia website there's a big gap between the 8500 and 9800 that just *don't*

It would be even better of they had used the new 59w core which would have made it perfect for media centers.

Even better if you could (AGAIN for ZOTAC) buy the damn thing in the UK....

If they did the low power (aka GREEN) one in UK I'd buy one... without a doubt.. as it is I am gonna have to import a low profile HD4650 from the States
