Give it another few weeks; I have a feeling (and I bet a lot of people do) that these cards havn't reached their lowest prices yet.

Some people want the best single GPU setup and the GTX 285 delivers.

You do realise that Hexus has a partnership with Scan?, such as offering free shipping, customer support amongst other things. I don't see how thats funny .

Re: News - High-end graphics card pricing continues to tumble

At only £40 more than the cheapest GTX 275 it seems like reasonable pricing. Similar tech, a handful of extra mhz on the core and mem, and an extra few MB chucked in. To be honest, this has made the pre-overclocked 275s look silly rather than vice versa.

Also, the scan comment? Generally scan are very well respected, especially here at Hexus. I also don't think it was deliberate advertising, just that they are often at the front of the U.K. market with price cuts. The 4870 price cuts last week, for example, are still to be reflected at ebuyer, but scan had them up straight away...

Re: News - High-end graphics card pricing continues to tumble

Would love to know what percentage of graphics card sales fall into different price brackets. What is the actual demand for £200 + graphic cards. Surely if AMD wanted to really wipe the floor with Nvidia then bring the 4870 1gb down to £120 price market!!!
