More the the point you can get fully featured laptops a lot cheaper or ultraportables with more power for not much more. An 11.6" netbook's a bit betwixt and between - it's not really powerful enough to justify itself as an ultraportable laptop, but it's too expensive to really be a netbook.

I wish netbooks would get back to where they belong: sub £300 and 9" or 10" screens, with 945 chipsets which are more than good enough for websurfing and email, with a better uptake of Yukon / Congo and ION in the space above that - ultraportables for £300 - £500. Also, Intel really need to get their rears into gear and release dual-core Atom N- and Z- series processors with EIST that are suitable for that ultraportable range, because the single-core N- and Z- series really don't cut it for machines costing more than £300, and no-one is going to put a 330 in a netbook when it doesn't support EIST so is going to kill battery life...
