The CoolerMaster Storm Scout looks better than this 932, and is slightly cheaper. Scout has a handle useful for LANs, an all black interior, and has all related dust covers.

Yes. Trying very hard to decide which case to go for at the mo. The storm is nice but doesn't have as much airflow - but then the handles are a massive bonus. Still, the HAF932 was at £99.87 last week on ebuyer and at only £10 more it includes an extra 200mm fan along with it's extra size. Given that these are £15-20 to buy on their own it might make more sense... There's also the CM-690 for even less money than the storm which has similar features...

I think the only certainly is that coolermaster are getting more of my wedge next month...

It's not very nice to look at imho. PC cases seem to look worse, cheaper and tackier now than they have in a long time.

this looks very good. it may not have the finishing touches to a lian li but function wise it does the job very well

Not sure if I like the looks, but I really like the fact that it uses 200mm fans for nice cooling. These will intake and exhaust lots of air, while being quiet at the same time. However, the intake fan is also going to suck in a lot of dust.

In the official CM forums, they have compatible dust filters for both the HAF 922 and 932, but they will only manufacture them if there is a demand for them. So go over to their forums and make a case for the dust filters if it is important to you. But it does beg the question why they didn't include them as standard (surely the cost can't be too high).

The styling is not to everyones taste, however it ticks all the boxes for a good ATX mid tower case.

At £90 that's just too expensive, if coolermaster had got it down to £70 it would of been a good buy.

Another one here who finds it ugly (and I'm one of those deeply sexual deviant types who not only owns a Silverstone SG04 but rather likes the styling too!) I think it looks a bit tacky with too much plastic but I imagine the airflow's going to be pretty good in it.. have to agree with Pob255 on the price too; that's pretty dear.

i dont like their HAF series. i think they look ugly too

would love to get me the 840 but funds are tight and the case is £££

will have to settle with a 690 for now

Both 5.25in and 2.5in drive bays utilise a tool-less design, but the same can't be said for the HAF 922's expansion slots

Does this case finally have some 2.5" drive bays or is this just a typo? In which case, when are we going to see cases start to allow use of SSDs without adaptors?

Yeah, I reckon it is a typo. The inside of the case doesn't show anything that might obviously be a 2.5" bay. I'm guessing they meant to refer to the standard HDD bays - which are tool-less and work very well imo.

It can't be long until we see high end cases sacrificing some space for 2x2.5" bays though surely...

The Storm Scout (not to be confused with the storm sniper) gives space to install two 120mm fans in the perspex window, depending on your CPU cooler + GFX card set up. Actually, the 922 side fan might have to be removed in that respect.

My thermaltake armour with a top fan vent still gets tons of dust in it. Even if the 922 has holes for watercooling, dust may be even more of a problem then. If the 922 internals were coated, it may warrant consideration

It looks almost see-through - is the mesh completely open on the case? If so surely dust covers on the fans won't make much difference to the amount of dust that finds it's way into the case (well I know it will make a difference but...). I actually quite like the look (and I don't really like the cases with see through side panels), but if you have to hoover it everyday I wouldn't care what it looked like it would be a no go!
