Nice board lineup. The major gripe for me though, is Gigabyte really needs to do away with those lego combination of slot/connector colours. Am I the only one who finds it makes their boards look tacky and cheap?

What colours would you prefer? Everything in black? I don't think it looks too bad at all, personally...
Much better than DFI's all green.
And the blue PCB is better than the old brown/rust that Asus still use.

It's actually just a shame the intel board isn't as interesting as the Intel one. Granted it has onboard video, so that takes up quite a lot of space on the backplane, but all those extra ports on the back of the Intel one is very cool.
Anything other than the toy blues, oranges, purples, and yellows. I'm alright with the colour of the boards themselves, just not the slots and connectors.

When these come out will they have USB 2 or 3 ports?
Just that im looking at this as my next upgrade path and if it means waiting an extra few months from the 55 initial release in order for USB3 to be standard then so be it.
Don't know yet...article did mention the boards were "mock ups".
Therefore, nothing is finalised yet I would expect.

Nice. Definitely going to have to get myself a new motherboard soon, especially with eSATA integrated. My current eSATA connector is such a mess due to all the internal cables.
