Shame that with my broadband being throttled it's not a pleasant experience. Best way we can get Dr. Who in HD though :-)
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Can't wait till all of the videos are in HD.
ISPs will have a fit!

Works fine for blu ray and such but the bulk of the decoding is passed onto the GPU for that and im assuming this uses the CPU for the decoding.
Wonder if this will finally cause my tiscali powered freedom2surf connection to die (its getting worse by the day).
lol - I'll be watching all of my TV between 12am and 7am then (unlimited overnight downloads!). Acxtually, iPlayer lets you download for watching later, doesn't it... have they built a timed download feature into that yet?
yeah it was a month after the last date when they actually issued a new one
This could kill your broadband limit though as a 1 hour HD prog is about 1.5 gig.
Hopefully, this will finally get ISP's to realise that the majority of their customers are now going to be streaming HD content and they will need to remove their download limit.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
