Awww... I quite liked the "I'm slightly amused at all the carnage and death I'm causing" look on the face of the original Max Payne. All the same, quite like the new look.

I don't get how they can so drastically change him. Consistency has just flown out the window!

Re: Features - The faces of Max Payne 2001 -2009

I'll keep an open mind on this.

Max Payne was always a dark comic book style game. Drugs, hookers and had a wierdness to it. Like the fun fair levels. It was just plain dark and twisted.

I struggle to see how they will bring that atmosphere to the setting.

They can get the slow mo action right but they need to get that atmosphere to make it Max Payne. But you never know eh?

Re: Features - The faces of Max Payne 2001 -2009

Doesn't seem to look anything like a Max Payne game just looks like the thought the name sounded good for a standard fps and to hopefully sell a few copies by using the name of what was once a great game.

Have they forgotten the whole point of Max Payne and not even bothered watching the movie or something. This guy they show would never have been a family man or given a crap about his wife and kid and be riddled with the pain of it. He looks more like crazy Kane

Not bad for man who has been shot millions of times and is only being held up on his feet by painkillers I guess it was more funny seeing big butch marky playing a Drug addict in Basketball Diaries.

Still, he definetly looks best in the first game.

The less said about this movie the better... seriously.

I remember playing #1 wayyy back. And I loved it, it was a very weird game from what I can remember. Might have to dig the disc out, it's around here somewhere.

Never played any of the sequels.
