Move on to the RC guys, it's superb.
Never thought I'd see the day where I'd be looking forward to giving MS money.
Insane, isn't it? But I have to admit, I'm enjoying my time with Windows 7 RC on my primary workstation (!) enough that I would love to preorder it now, seeing as the E editions will be full versions.

He speaks the truth, windows 7 is a seriously impressive bit of kit. Iv got it running on my laptop as we speak and i tip my hat to MS, nail on head with this one!![]()
Does this mean there'll be an option to "downgrade" to a legit install over Vista?
I'd be happy to do that if there's the option to, but it would be a real pain to have to format my computer again.
Fair play to MS for allowing the RC to go right through to March next year!
I recently installed the RC as a dual boot with Vista on my laptop. Its great that it works with the vista drivers and so far hardware wise everything appears to be working. I opted for the 64bit edition but cant say it performs faster than Vista 32bit.
The only thing I find annoying is that it hasn't improved battery life at all. Currently Vista runs 75 processes on start up (dont blame me this is the out of the box install by HP). The RC runs 40 upon start up which is much more rasonable, but hasnt saved the battery unfortunately.
What build number is RC?
I've got the 7100x64 on my Laptop...
