Talk of 'All Day' Battery life scares me off this platform!

I like to be able to get at least 2 days, if not 3.

I've had to charge my touch HD this morning, because on monday i was using google maps + GPS heavily. With push email on 8 to 23, and made about 1.5 hours of voice calls. That battery life is still anoyingly short imo.

You sleep every night like the rest of us? How hard is it just to put your mobile devices on charge before you go to bed? So long as it lasts from morning alarm to sleepy time, that's enough surely?

I'm with The Animus on this, charging things all the time is a major pain! I frequently aren't at my house for a few nights and lugging a charger around is an annoyance. Not to mention the extra cost of charging it. I miss my old w810 - sometimes I didn't need to charge it for a week!

I was going to buy one a current winmo phone, they all seem to have a chip running at around 5/600mhz, I think I'll wait till some decent ones using this comes out now.

Tell that to somebody who's been at a festival for four days, hasn't had a working phone for three of them and as a result can never find anybody they went with, see if they think "all day battery life" is reasonable for a mobile device.

My lg renoir lasts about 3 days with about 3-4 hours music, 25+ texts and about 10mins phone calls and of course a few pictures. Now that is the battery life i expect .

LG phones totally blow tho :/

I have the same phone as animus and i agree it just doesnt last quite long enough. Its not too bad though im rarely left in the dark with it. Mini USB is damned common now i mean anyone with a PS3 can help you out as the cable to charge the controllers is USB - Mini USB.

I saw a computer yesterday that ran MS-DOS apps on two AA batteries for A MONTH.

    Beat that.

Well I was taking the mick a bit. But I was serious. I did see one, netbook sized, albeit 20 years old and not able to run anything "modern".
