This sounds like it could be what I have been waiting for...... I am almost interested enough to get a twitter account to follow this....

To make ebooks really work publishers, retailers have to get away from DRM and specialised readers. It sounds like B&N have realised that. I can't wait to get their Ereader installed on my PDA and have a legitimate place to purchase books from that doesn't care how i want to read them, adding in the google collection just shows how forward looking they are being.
