I've just purchased a Synology 109j, upgraded to new 2.2 firmware. I already had an iPhone 3G (3.0). Installed this app and after putting in my home, static IP, login and password it connected & worked str8 away. there is a slight delay when i change tracks, hardly surprising tho.

Plays back perfectly with 3G reception, no stuttering / jumping etc. not had chance to try it on a crappy signal, yet.

The software also caches up to 500 tracks to your iphone, which may be handy in poor signal conditions.

Shake to Shuffle the tracks doesn't work, but hey its version 1 and a free app, who can complain
