Well the longer Win7 has been available, the longer hackers have to find workarounds, and the longer MS have to combat these before general release to the public.

With the pre order prices we have enjoyed there has really been no reason to pirate this, Not that there ever is a valid reason for piracy though.

Total apathy here. Placed my pre-orders - can't really do much more than that. If anyone expected this not to get cracked they'd be fools.

Breaking DRM is a challenge for some. Breaking DRM != piracy. Nice strawman anyway.

One man's terrorism is another's freedom fighting. Point being regardless of your point of view others have valid reasons for doing what they do, whether you agree with them or not does not make them any less valid.

Hackers dont really care about price, they see it as a challenge, something do to, and when you can crack something made by Microsoft, I'm sure they feel pretty special and want to share it with the rest of the world.

Ofcourse, it doesnt make it legal but as always, bringing the price down to <£50 was a great move, and I am sure some people who would have pirated actually bought it, there is no way to actually stop some people from ever doing it, but the price does affect many other people.

I agree with everything you said, except that - as far as I'm aware a fairly large number of them have absolutely no interest in sharing anything with the rest of the world.

Is this actually a crack? Sounds more like a leaked key?
