Pricing wise I would expect this to be closer to the Qnap TS-809U-RP which also has a C2D and 2GB, it is kacking the SAS capability though. So about £1,700 ex VAT or there abouts.
Is that a pic of the new SAS device? If so it looks abit small to fit in a standard rack

Yes that is the N8800, and no, it is a standard 2U rack unit
it doesn't look wide enough to be 19 inches. Maybe an optical illusion
